Switzerland Account Specialist

Angelini Pharma Switzerland is looking for an Account Specialist that will be responsible to build a strong local territory and account plan through strong analysis of local environment with alignment to Global and country strategy.

The main duties essentially will include:

  • Ongoing tracking and monitoring of progress against the local plan
  • Managing key therapeutic area accounts and develop relationships with relevant HCPs (treaters, supporters, and referrers), and other relevant stakeholders
  • Representing Angelini as a company towards the various relevant professional stakeholder within the therapeutic area space and establish Angelini’s commitment in disease treatment
  • Navigating through hospital and referral networks (e.g., centers, specialist clinics, etc.), mapping relevant stakeholders and identifying key decision makers within each account
  • Understanding of accounts local market access landscape (formulary process, guidelines, and protocols) and engagement with key payers and other decision makers within this process to ensure Angelini’s products are available
  • Building relationships with all relevant stakeholders within defined territory through regular ongoing engagement
  • Acting as the point of contact for key therapeutic area accounts and coordinating with internal Angelini stakeholders (e.g., Medical Affairs, Access, Marketing, etc.) to address stakeholder questions and needs
  • Understanding overall account needs as well as individual stakeholder needs and preferences
  • Working closely with key therapeutic area accounts to address customer needs, identifying opportunities for partnership programs, and supporting internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Medical Affairs, Marketing, Access etc.) to ensure successful execution
  • Profiling Neurologists/other Specialists in General Hospitals, specialized centers, specialist clinics, to identify current and potential prescribers
  • Sharing information strategies regarding the progress of his/her above mentioned activities in internal cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access)

Requirements to be successful in the role:

  • At least 3 years of field sales pharmaceutical experience
  • Ideally knowledge of neurology, epilepsy
  • Fluent in German, ideally fluent in French and Italian
  • High degree of willingness to travel in Switzerland
  • Self-driven, energetic and enjoys building and co-designing a fast-growing start-up in an established company
  • An entrepreneurial and innovative mindset
  • Strong communication and contact skills in an agile and result-oriented team
